Mandy believes the key to healing in therapy starts with a feeling of safety in the therapeutic relationship. Her role is to walk alongside her clients to foster an empathic, supportive, nurturing environment while sorting through each person’s life struggles. Mandy’s counseling approach is centered on a collaborative relationship with her clients aimed towards healing and growth through both cognitive insight and corrective emotional experiences. Corrective emotional experiences refer to situations where difficulties are re-experienced in new and positive ways. This newfound awareness enables clients to move from a place of stuckness to the freedom necessary to experience a fulfilling and abundant life.
