Diane E. Arnold, MA, LPC, LPC-SC

Certified EFT Therapist

Approach to Psychotherapy and Areas of Specialization

Diane's primary practice focus is marriage, family and relationship issues. Additional areas of training include parenting, personal development, life transitions, anger management, depression, grief, anxiety/stress, trauma and spiritual growth. She strives to provide Biblically-based counseling that addresses the heart of issues -- not just the symptoms. When working with her clients, Diane understands the importance of encompassing all aspects of a person in their healing process. This can often include current life circumstances as well as a person's spiritual, emotional, and physical well being. We need healing in our emotions and spirits to walk in wholeness in every aspect of our lives. Without wholeness we can form unhealthy relationship habits. As a result, people often struggle with roots of shame and the fear of rejection by those in close relationship with us. Secure attachments are the antidote to this fear and shame.

Professional Associations

Diane is a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and International Centre for Excellence in Emotionally Focused Therapy (ICEEFT).

Diane is affiliated with South Carolina's Christian Counseling Association. This organization works to provide excellence in equipping health professionals in the Low Country. Diane has a strong desire to see people move from brokenness and pain to peace and restoration with the wisdom, insight, and power of the Holy Spirit. She considers it an honor to be trusted by her clients to walk beside them through their healing process.

Diane is BC/BS provider and available for appointments at the West Ashley location.

Parakletos:

If we don’t know our earthly fathers as good it is often difficult to have a secure relationship with our heavenly

Father. This book outlines how we build and maintain healthy relationships so we can walk fully in the identity of who God created us to be.
